Our Team
Jess Gromer,
Co-Owner & CEO
Jess brings over 25 years of experience in leadership, public policy, facilitation, granting process, and program development, with a career deeply rooted supporting organizational missions.
She began her professional journey as a Registered Nurse, working for more than 14 years across both public and private sectors. Her experience includes over seven years dedicated to international biomedical and behavioral research focused on Indigenous health disparities, leading to over 20 journal publications.
For just over eight years, Jessica served in a leadership role at a private foundation, where she directed grant making, spearheaded community collaboration initiatives, and facilitated systems-level solutions to complex community challenges. During this time, she also led the strategic implementation of the foundation's early learning initiative.
Jess currently serves in leadership roles on multiple statewide organizations and boards related to the early childhood education field.
Leading with integrity, respect, and inclusion are a priority for Jess when working with her clients. She is mission driven and thrives on helping others fulfil their own mission.
Jess holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Wisconsin–River Falls and an Associate of Science in Nursing from the University of South Dakota. She is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration at Eastern University.
Brent Gromer,
Co-Owner
Brent shares the role of owner of G & G Consulting. Brent is a 25 year law enforcement veteran. During his career he spent time in patrol, narcotics, general criminal investigations and over half his career in digital evidence investigations. He was a recognized in the United States District Court and South Dakota State Courts as an expert in digital forensics and digital evidence investigations. He was a prior member of the South Dakota Chapter of the IAI. He retired in 2021 as the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force Commander for the State of South Dakota. He was co-chair of the National ICAC Task Force Emerging Technology Committee where he analyzed and provided insight on digital evidence tools and processes. Since his retirement, Brent, joined the team at Magnet Forensics assisting State and Local law enforcement meet the challenges of collecting, processing, investigating, and reporting digital evidence investigations.
